Trying to search for a doctor on Google is challenging.

When you search, you end up in a morass of procedurally generated directories, all of which provide the same information scraped from similar sources. The information is often wrong, and its presence (with the masterful SEO behind sites like webmd, doximity, healthgrades, usnews, sharecare, vitals.com, and others) blocks you from finding the unique site for your actual doctor.

A better option is here:

(YOU STILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH ADS! So scroll past the first several entries to get to the non-enshitified google results)

It is a custom google search that requires “doctor” or “MD” or something similar be present, and it filters out all the low-quality domains like the ones listed above.

Try it out! You should just be able to enter a doctor’s name and find useful pages that relate to them, specifically, rather than their entry in a dozen different directories of all possible doctors.
